A hand carved man of girth looks to be more than half way swallowed by a tidal wave frozen in time. Or is a cloak that looks to be swallowing him up? It creates a mystery to be wondered if this man is in fact a Sumo wrestler or just wealthy merchant whose figure never was realized. Just like life!
