As I’ve said before, I never know what I’m looking for until I see it! This one called out to me in a strange way. Dang! Are those swans? A wayward youth in the open planes? A few wild horses straggling in the horizon? A shotgun and a dead swan? What made the artist paint this? The paint, oil, is thickly painted although used with purpose. The sky is wonderous in a sort of an eary way - muted tones that reveal a mood more than a real sky. And where is he? In the Midwest, on a fall afternoon?
