Wow, to even describe this magnificent piece? I found it drilled into the back wall of a rinky dink house in Canoga Park. For those who don’t know, way deep in the San Fernando valley.
I pried it off with the help of an agile and skilled estate sale person. It was upside down - meaning neither of us noticed the eagle enmeshed in the media mix! Cardboard, wood, textile, glue and mounds of paint created an ocean of wonder. Unsigned.
I immediately took it to get framed with what looks like a simple weathered robin's blue color blends and completes this gorgeous piece! Ready to be hung! Thanks to Castelli’s Framing, by the way!
Measurements are 31 1/1” in height by 21 1/2” wide. The depth of the frame is 2 1/4”.
