Vintage Mexican Amethyst, Turquoise and Sterling Silver Indigenous Male Pendant Necklace

A Mexican indigenous male head hand carved from amethyst with sterling silver and turquoise, embraces cultural influences that have had a huge impact on the arts in Mexico. This particular piece, handcrafted sometime during the apex of the last century when artisans were in full throttle amplifies the respect and beauty of the indigigenous people. I'm not sure I would attribute this to the Aztec culture although these pieces are often fall under that category.
