This wonderful and strange animal is quite enchanting. Made from natural plant fibers and painted as well, he's been reimagined as a wild boar, or perhaps a pig. He has character, charm and decidedly handsome, in a sort of priggish way. We love him here at hunter gatherer and he's our momentary mascot. A boar, or is it a pig? Made in Papa New Guinea quite awhile ago, maybe 30 years ago? Made entirely by hand with substantial attention to detail, you can even see the some of it's teeth from the open mouth!
It measures 21" in length by 12" in height, at the ears.
