Handmade Orthoceras Fossil & Macrame Cuff Bracelet

Handmade Orthoceras Fossil & Macrame Cuff Bracelet

An unusual and very distinct handmade cuff bracelet with a beautiful fossil stone.  A statement piece for sure!  It runs large so anyone with large hands will wear it well.  As to where it was made, I confess I do not know.  If you have a clue  please let me know!

Orthoceras are an extinct Nautiloid cephalopod that lived from the Ordovician Period to the Triassic Period  (500 - 2000 million years ago.  Found in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, they are not rare, never the less, exquisite for their organic element.   Orthoceras fossils are the remains of an invertebrate, an animal that has no backbone, that belongs to the Phylum Mollusca.

it measures 3 1/2” where the fossil stone is (including the textured, braided hemp).  Outside the center, it actually measures 4 1/4” and  9 3/4” and the cuff.
