Antique Vintage Massive Mexican Dining Room Hand Carved Cabinet
Antique Vintage Massive Mexican Dining Room Hand Carved Cabinet
A massive, handcrafted wood cabinet that would work beautifully in a variety of rooms wether they be the dining room, the living room or an entryway. Gobs of storage - the additional shelves were added later (during the 1980’s) and are capable of having light inside.
This piece came to us in a strange and magical way. It belonged to Lauren Ricky Greene and her husband, David Greene (an Emmy award winning director) through a family member who now lives in New York. It lived for many years in a stunning craftsman house in Santa Monica that was restored and therefore declared a landmark and nominated on the National Register of Historic Places.
The piece is about 80 to 100 years old, all put together by hand, with the carving of flowers done by hand. It measures 7’ 1” in length by 4’ in depth. It stands 4’ 9” in height. It’s beautifully imperfect.
